So we ran the irrigation tape, cleaned away the excess dirt, and put greens in the ground this weekend. We put in: collards, green leaf, red leaf, and pak choi. There's a cinnamon basil (smells so good) and a common sage for variety. From seed we're trying snow peas, sugar snap peas, carrots, and turnips. One of the other gardeners gave us some fava bean seeds, so we planted those too.

It is a nice group of people, who really do share knowledge, seeds, and excess produce. I've got a big bag of okra to pickle. Next summer, I hope to have my own giant okra plants.
