Assorted Thoughts

It will come as no surprise to anyone who has ever owned a dog (or at least owned a smart dog) that dogs may understand as many as 200 words. Bess picks up new words in a snap. Little Cleo is .... slower. I've been working on 'lie down' with her for a month or so. I'm sure she'll get the hang of it eventually :)

I am back on the path to getting in better shape. I don't seem to have back-slid too much during the teaching time crunch. The new gym seems alright, and they have some neato equipment and a nicely laid-back atmosphere. It's a gym for people who want to get fit, and not a place to catch some buff sweaty guy's eye while doing yogilates.
