Reading and Assorted Thoughts for Friday

Finished Allende's Ines of My Soul last night. For some reason I was reluctant to read this one, but once I opened it I was taken in by Allende's prose. She's really got a gift for building a world and characters. That brings me to six for the year so far. I'm also halfway through a non-fic loaned to me by my office-mate. Not bad. I hope I can keep up the pace.

We had a lovely belated Valentine's Day dinner last night at one of the nicer steak places in town. Amazing food and it was fun to get dressed up. Tonight we're taking the baby with us and having dinner with some of my coworkers.
