After the Thanking

Well, we pulled it off. My bird was moist but cooked through. The only oddball was my sweet potato pie, which looked goofy (but tasted fine. Still, it did not make it to the final table.). Since that left us with only three pies for six people, we managed somehow.

Anyone who read this entry could probably guess at least one thing I'm glad to have. I'm also glad to be done with holiday shopping. We haven't gotten around to decorating for Christmas yet, so we better get on that. The weather has decided to remind us that winter holidays are on the way with chilly temperatures and hard freeze warnings. I know this is amusing to those in Minnesota, but it should be in the 60s here, not threatening to freeze my bougenvilla.
