House Progress

The photographer came to the house yesterday. We got the wall built (pictures to come) and the house picked up. Today we will confer with Handy Guy and see if he's going to have time for all the patching and painting. If not, Jon and I will do that after the maids finish the deep clean on Friday.

We met with Susan Sunday to sign the papers. We'll hit the listings last Thursday or first thing Friday, in the hopes that people planning a weekend hunt will see us and put us on their list. The other house on the block sold already, which gives us hope that ours will go with reasonable speed too. We did some looking around on Sunday, but didn't see anything we just loved. There is a builder putting up a model we liked, so we're keeping that in mind and we have another list of homes to look at this weekend.

I will probably watch Lost tonight, although you can just imagine how much I am looking forward to seeing Kate and Juliet have a catfight over Jack. Dear Show: Enough with the love septagon and retcons on random characters no one cares about.

Anyway, things are coming together. Wish me luck on keeping the house pristine.
