Assorted Thoughts for Wednesday

It's been a busy weekend, and today I'm trying to get enough clothes, bottles, and blankets cleaned and packed for the flight tomorrow. Jon has taken some days off, so we've gotten to see a lot of him lately, which has been great. He's also going to watch the tot for awhile this afternoon while I go take a little personal time before the plane ride and subsequent familytime immersion.

Fun: I finally found some postpartum clothes that fit decently. Deadwood was fabulous. We had some buddies over for beers, burgers, and brats. Fiona slept through the night once (may it become a regular feature soon).

Less Fun: Bess is in surgury today. Another leg thing. We should be done with the cone though. Also: the AC stopped working the other day. The evap was still good, but now that we're in the monsoon season, the cooler effeciency goes way down and a steady and tropical 80 is about the best it can do. Luckily it turned out the problem was the thermostat, so it was an easy and relatively cheap fix.
